Personal Referral “OPINION” SCRIPT

(For people more successful than you, parents, etc.)
KEY POINT #1: Be sure to talk to them like you normally would. This script is a good outline, but you still want to be normal. Referring someone to take a look at OurGV is no different than referring someone to a restaurant, movie, sale, etc.
Hi (their name), this is (your name). How are you doing? Listen, I was wondering what do you have going on tomorrow night? (most likely they will say nothing) The reason I am calling is to ask for your help, I would really like to get your opinion on something. I have just gotten involved in a business opportunity, and since you have more experience than me, (or success, etc.) I would really appreciate it if you would take a look at it. You wouldn’t mind helping me out would you? Great, some of the technology this company is using is very cutting edge. They are conducting a live online presentation tonight at 7:30 or I can walk you thru a special private screening tomorrow night at 8:30, which would be best for you? Since I am brand new, I really need you to see the full presentation so you can understand it completely. Also, if you have any great questions to ask afterwards, I would love to arrange a phone call with one of the top leaders in the company. Their time schedule is VERY tight, but I explained to them how much I value your opinion, and they said they would be happy to answer any questions that you may have. I am sure after seeing the presentation you will be able to ask far better questions than I could ever think of. It really means a lot to me that you are taking some of your valuable time to help me out. Let me give you the web address and instructions so you can meet me online about 10 minutes before the presentation begins.
IF THEY BEGIN ASKING QUESTIONS!!!!!
Listen (their name) I was really hoping you would get all of the information from the presentation, or from (full name of expert) (edify the expert) If I attempt to relate it to you second hand, you won’t get the full picture and your advice will not be accurate. The online presentation is really powerful and can give you all the facts and then (full name of expert, edify expert) can answer any questions you may come up with okay? (Insist they see the presentation or get on the phone with your Expert, DO NOT break down and start answering questions yourself, otherwise they may make a Hasty judgment without seeing the bigger picture first.)

Script if you’ve never been in the business before:

“Hey, I have never come to you with this sort of thing before and although I have been approached hundreds of times over the years I have never joined any but this one got me excited.  I respect you and I think you respect me, sign up for our free tour and take a look at the video and if you see what I see, let’s do it together and if not, that’s totally ok, and I won’t bring it up again.”

Script If you have been in a few different network marketing opportunities over the years and your warm market knows this, but they do have some form of respect for you but just haven’t joined you in your different ventures, here’s the approach we suggest:

“I know you have seen me do a few different things over the years and honestly I have invested a decent amount of money to research, participate in and locate an opportunity that I felt was finally the right fit and I do believe I found one. You may or may not agree and that is definitely OK but I wanted to reach out to you and see if you would be open to taking a look at it.  Even if it’s not for you any referrals would be so welcomed!  I am going to run with this thing with or without you but would love to do it with you. Would you be open to a free tour to just take a look?”

Script if you’ve shared multiple times:

“Hey, I am doing a new business and before you freak out just know that I KNOW for sure that it is NOT a fit for you. I know I have approached you in all kinds of wild ways before I was trained better and for that I apologize. I was pretty new and I now see that and hope you can forgive me. Like I said, I don’t think the business is a fit at all for you but you really might like this and you can sign up for a free tour that may be helpful to you and your family. If you don’t want to even check it out, I definitely understand but at least wanted to let you know about it”

Customer Acquisition Script

What is your favorite store? Or Do you ever shop at Wal-mart or Target?
Would you be interested in getting cash back every time you shopped there? (if yes) Okay listen there is a great new company that is actually paying people to shop. I know it sounds too good to be true, but it doesn’t hurt to check it out does it? Give me your email address, and I will send you some information. Put them into the “Customer” campaign. Follow up in a day or two.
ALSO:
If they are a cold recruit get their info especially email address and tell them you will contact them with more information. If they are your personal referral schedule a time for them to check out an online presentation, watch the 5 minute Video, or do a 3-Way with your expert.
